Airport to Meeting Venue
Traveling from Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) to the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel:
Using Taxi/Ride-Hailing Services
- Duration: Approximately 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic
- Cost: Approx 60–90 RON (approx €12–18)
- Details: Licensed taxis are available outside the arrivals terminal. Alternatively, you can use ride-hailing apps like Uber, Bolt, or FreeNow.
Using Public Transport
By Bus
- Take Express Bus 100 (formerly 783) to Piața Unirii, then transfer to a taxi or public transit to the hotel.
- Duration: About 1–1.5 hours.
- Cost: Approx 3 RON per trip
By Train
- Take the train from OTP to Gara de Nord, then a taxi or ride-hailing service to the hotel.
- Duration: Approximately 1 hour.
- Cost: Approx 4–5 RON for the train ticket.
Public Transport Passes
- You can purchase 7-day public transport passes for more convenient travel:
- 30 RON – Unlimited travel for 7 days on above-ground transport only (buses, trams).
- 66 RON – Unlimited 7-day travel on all public transport, including the metro/underground.
- Passes must be validated at the start of each trip by tapping them on the reader inside buses or trams.
- These can be bought from the red vending machine near the Bus 100 stop at the airport and other kiosks nearby. However, passes that include metro access are available only at certain metro stations, so it’s best to buy them upon arrival.
