Abstract

The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) works on developing the voluntary standards that underpin the global Internet. These standards often influence operational practices, network architecture, and protocol evolution across the ecosystem. This session will highlight some key developments at the IETF, including new standards proposals, newly chartered working groups, and hot topics gaining traction within the IETF community. Special attention will be given to areas of direct relevance to network operators.

Whether you’re tracking standards adoption, involved in deployments and operations, or just curious about emerging protocol trends, this talk will offer a concise, operator-focused view of what’s brewing at the IETF.
