Abstract
This session is a follow-up to a well-attended side meeting held during IETF 123, which brought together resolver operators, authoritative operators, and software vendors to discuss the current state and future of encrypted DNS transport protocols (ADoT/ADoQ).
The goal of this BoF is to continue that momentum by fostering direct collaboration between different parts of the DNS ecosystem. We aim to:
- Share deployment plans, experiments, and experiences with ADoT/ADoQ
- Identify interoperability or operational challenges that need community attention
- Explore areas where collaboration between vendors and operators can accelerate adoption
- Define potential next steps, joint experiments, or coordination mechanisms
