Abstract
It’s been three years since I first presented IBDNS, the Intentionally Broken DNS Server, at DNS-OARC 38. The tool is primarily developed for testing Zonemaster, helping to make sure that Zonemaster gives the correct diagnostics in the right situations. This talk focuses on a concrete use case for IBDNS that does not involve Zonemaster: help with testing the implementation of a proposal of an EDNS option, that was done during the DNS Hackathon earlier this month.
