Marco d'Itri - 2025-10-20 14:16:07
Is folk dancing in the plenary a first for meetings?

Robert Lister - 2025-10-20 14:19:03
Are they here all week to open?

Stephen Strowes - 2025-10-20 14:31:32
WG chairs will dance at the start of their sessions

Dhruv Dhody - 2025-10-20 14:33:46
Happy Diwali - the festival of lights!

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 14:55:46
I love seeing all the weird packets that show up on the Internet. πŸ˜„

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 15:04:18
"Everyone knows what SNMP is... well I hope everyone knows..." And then... Tom didn't tell us for anyone who doesn't know. 🫠

Saiidnajib Saidislomzoda - 2025-10-20 15:07:24
Nobody is not use snmp v3πŸ˜‚

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 15:07:25
Okay, he explained it. "SNMP is old and slow."

Saiidnajib Saidislomzoda - 2025-10-20 15:12:14
"Society if gNMI was an actual thing" - 😁

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 15:12:31
I'm not sure making me walk a robot dog is a selling point for gNMI though!

Victoria Risk - 2025-10-20 15:15:33
I understand the need for a faster way to retrieve the information, but what was wrong with the MIBS?

Victoria Risk - 2025-10-20 15:16:39
ah, he is telling us now, random/arbitrary vendor-specific extensions

Mike Hughes - 2025-10-20 15:17:47
Has anyone mentioned the audio quality isn't great on the stream? Sounds like there's lots of clipping, as though the input level is too high.

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 15:18:59
Ah, Telegraf, a simple and small piece of software!

Saiidnajib Saidislomzoda - 2025-10-20 15:19:52
@Mike Hughes, there is such thing

Carolien Vos - 2025-10-20 15:20:04
@Mike Hughes Thank you very much for the feedback - we're looking into it

Timo Hilbrink - 2025-10-20 15:20:07
Yes, audio is clipping

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 15:21:32
People complained that text on m yslides was too small, and now we see the "Production Architecture" slide in 3 point font...

Mike Hughes - 2025-10-20 15:22:09
Sorry (not, sorry) former hobbyist AV engineer. <-----

Timo Hilbrink - 2025-10-20 15:23:47
I think it's this presenters mic that is clipping, as i ididn't notice it so much with the previous presenters

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 15:24:07
Sounds fine in the room itself.

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 15:24:25
Although I'm like 4 meters from the stage, so maybe it is for folks in the back!

Shane Kerr - 2025-10-20 15:24:43
Maybe it is clipping, I mean.

Mike Hughes - 2025-10-20 15:30:09
Yes. It is the presenter mic. Tom Hill sounds totally like Tom Hill does when I'm sat next to him in the pub. :)

Robert Lister - 2025-10-20 15:38:37
"nuclear fusion will be a thing in 20 years...."

Tom Hill - 2025-10-20 15:39:39
😁

Carolien Vos - 2025-10-20 15:39:49
